We want you to love your car, however in the occasion that you do not, you can have your money back.
All of our cars that are purchased via distance selling, come with a 14-day money-back guarantee, if you do not like your new car. Please note, you must not use the car after telling us you are cancelling the agreement and you must keep it in good condition from the day it was delivered.
The 14-day money back guarantee applies to retail customers only and strictly excludes vehicles purchased for trade or commercial use, inclusive of taxi use. Customers looking to exercise this guarantee must abide by the terms set below. This does not affect your statutory rights. All returned vehicles are subject to a returns fee of £700 and must be returned to us in the same sellable quality and condition or a retail ready condition.
Additional charges may apply against vehicles which do not meet these criteria and will be calculated on a fair basis to repair damage caused and, to return the car to its original retail condition. Vehicles must be returned to our Head Office address, The Car Group, The Car Depot, Derby Way, Bury, BL9 0NJ. We will not collect the vehicle/s from you. All documents and keys supplied with the sale of the vehicle must be returned to us in full.
The 14-day money back guarantee will be claimed no more than once for each customer and will become void after this point. Vehicles purchased using a third-party finance broker or other external finance companies are subject to a £399 processing fee which is strictly non-refundable.
We will aim to meet your requirements to facilitate the 14-day money back guarantee and will assist you to choose an alternative suitable vehicle to fit.
We will transfer the purchase of all additional insurance products i.e. GAP insurance, Warranty, Service, Paint Protection policy to the alternative purchased vehicle.
Vehicles purchased on credit are eligible for the 14-day money back guarantee only under conditions where we can arrange funds from our panel of lenders for you to purchase the alternative vehicle from The Car Group.
Customers who arranged funds using lenders outside The Car Group’s agreed panel of lenders will need to arrange suitable funds for the new alternative vehicle. Failure to secure suitable funds will void your claim and no refunds will take place.
